SUBLIME TO RIDICULOUS

Just wanted to show you the two cards I made yesterday which contrast each other for apparent reasons.

The first is a sympathy card for a friend who's ex mother in law recently passed away- this had to be a subtle and sensitive card. I Chose the cuttlebug 'stylized flowers' embossing folder which was tinted with pearlised chalks, embellished with pearls, mounted onto very pale pink bazzill.

The second card was for my daughter to give to a friend on her 21st birthday and the sky was the limit - hence super colourful and flamboyant. Numerals cut on cricut from Plantin Schoolbook cartridge, embellished with ribbons from stash and doodlebug buttons. All card was Bazzill doodlebug brights.

These two cards show the contrasting celebration of young life and the passing of old.

  3. Ohhhh love your soft sympathy stylized flowers. I have not had much luck colouring embossing from the CB. I am wondering what you used with your chalks. You did a wonderful job of the beautiful card. tfs.
