make a wish with kioshi
This image is one of my favourites from Penny Black. Papers are delicate and dreamy Kioshi by Basic Grey. Image coloured with promarkers. Note the small circle of colour removed from the blushing mouse - this is done by using the tip of a copic blending tool.

scrabble card
This was a really fun card to make... created with old scrabble tiles glued down with pinflair... love the play on words as my brother turned 58 yesterday.... crickey how old does that make me..........??edges were created with tonic distressing tool. Papers are again d.c.w.v

BOBBING BY TO SAY HI

SIZZIX ROSES

This card has been made using a page from k and co cut n paste pad. Roses are the new sizzix bigz die 656545 which cuts the card in one fail swoop - a bit like when you peel an apple. You then roll the card around a pokey tool/stick to create the flower and hold together with sticky dots. Text is rub on from Basic Grey wholy Cow. Circle is a spellbinders die, flourishes are marianne die cuts. Pearls from stash and glitter is stickles crystal. Leaves are Martha Stewart branch punch.

BUNNY WITH BALLOON

sometimes you just want to make an uncomplicated card and this fits the bill. Image is from Lili of the Valley- coloured with promarkers, backing template is a marianne frame die - embellished with windmill flowers punch from papermania. Stickles added as always - of course. This card is an a5 which is unusually small for me.

oooh errr i'm back!!

It's been a while - life has been busy but will promise myself to blog more frequently - it's not that I haven't been card making - just not found the time to blog them!!
These cards are both made with templates from Anne Marie designs.
Papers on robin card are Basic Grey eskimo kisses. Text stamp is from Cats life press. Robin is mounted on a spring for movement.
Gingerbread card backing paper was made on the computer by inputting a gingerbread recipe. The full recipe is also written inside.
This is a great alternative christmas card. Icing is created with white gel pen. Inked around the edges with cocoa and bronze versacolour ink to create that 'just baked' look. Buttons and eyes are craftwork cards card candy. He is mounted onto a spring and moves about when touched - fab!! (you can't catch me I'm the gingerbread man) l.o.l.!!

WEDDING CARDS

Made these three cards this week - lili of the valley images are my favourites at the moment. One wedding was all co-ordinated in cream/brown and the other was teal - hence these two. The other card is a ruby wedding card cut on the cricut with celebrations cart - split and tiers added to make it look more like a wedding cake.
