make a wish with kioshi

This image is one of my favourites from Penny Black. Papers are delicate and dreamy Kioshi by Basic Grey. Image coloured with promarkers. Note the small circle of colour removed from the blushing mouse - this is done by using the tip of a copic blending tool.

scrabble card

This was a really fun card to make... created with old scrabble tiles glued down with pinflair... love the play on words as my brother turned 58 yesterday.... crickey how old does that make me..........??

edges were created with tonic distressing tool. Papers are again d.c.w.v

.... have been making cards but just not been in here....
Image is a magnolia stamp...
papers are dcwv - bit of creativity going on here... love this card.... water swirls created with chalks.
Text was created with Martha Stewart punch - two punch set with all upper case letters.
Will be going to California shortly and intend to add just one or two m.s. punches to my collection ...l.o.l. - this is for any one that knows me, just check previous posts!

Image is Penny Black 'snuggles'. Papers are all nitwit 'from the heart' collection, hearts are new die from joycrafts -border is Martha Stewart Valentine Lace and stickers were from the hobbycraft sale for the grand price of £.29p. Stickles glitter glue is crystal.

Saturday, 22 January 2011

This card has been made using a page from k and co cut n paste pad. Roses are the new sizzix bigz die 656545 which cuts the card in one fail swoop - a bit like when you peel an apple. You then roll the card around a pokey tool/stick to create the flower and hold together with sticky dots. Text is rub on from Basic Grey wholy Cow. Circle is a spellbinders die, flourishes are marianne die cuts. Pearls from stash and glitter is stickles crystal. Leaves are Martha Stewart branch punch.

This is one of the new Lili of the Valley images recently released. No patterned paper for once - card is bazzil bling, coloured with promarkers and copics, text created with dymo machine - like this idea -should use this more often. Border is Martha Stewart Valentine heart punch.

sometimes you just want to make an uncomplicated card and this fits the bill. Image is from Lili of the Valley- coloured with promarkers, backing template is a marianne frame die - embellished with windmill flowers punch from papermania. Stickles added as always - of course. This card is an a5 which is unusually small for me.

This valentine has been made with baby ladybug die from sizzix. Photo quality is not particularly good but papers are bo bunny a gift of love, text cut on cricut with pooh font, buttons and thread from stash. Heart bling from papermania.

This card was made for this week's Lili of the Valley Thursday Challenge which was to follow this sketch and it was a pleasure. I followed it exactly and it was easy peasy.....

Image is obviously lili of the Valley, coloured with promarkers, papers are love tokens by helen jones and bazill basics. Embellished with stones from stash.

To add to my gingerbread man obsession found this cut on my paperdolls cartridge (next to mrs clause) and is a very cute man as he is quite chunky and cuddly. Bakers twine and ribbon from stash - eyes are card candy.

.... and some more!

First up is card created with loooooveeelly image from Lily of the Valley - penguins are soooo cute! - papers are MME colourful christmas.
Next is traditional card created with inkadinkadoo text stamp and various foliage punches including branch from Martha Stewart. Ribbon from stash but looks very dark and is actually green - bad lighting on photograph.

.... and mr gingerbread man has turned up again - this time complete with buttons and twine - verrry traditional - text is doodlebug stickers. This time he is mounted on a spring.

Another ginger bread man from the Anna Marie designs cd this time complete with candy cane - this is not an edible cane l.o.l.!!- icing courtesy of white gel pen - looks realistic doesn't it??

One image, three different cards.#
First up is MME papers, stamp is from Stampavie - mounted onto spellbinders die.
Second card uses basic grey eskimo kisses 6x6 papers and christmas round stamp from cats life press.
Third card uses bo bunny christmas paper and poinsettia die from marianne - ribbon from stash. Sentiment stamp is also from catslifepress.

oooh errr i'm back!!

It's been a while - life has been busy but will promise myself to blog more frequently - it's not that I haven't been card making - just not found the time to blog them!!

These cards are both made with templates from Anne Marie designs.
Papers on robin card are Basic Grey eskimo kisses. Text stamp is from Cats life press. Robin is mounted on a spring for movement.
Gingerbread card backing paper was made on the computer by inputting a gingerbread recipe. The full recipe is also written inside.
This is a great alternative christmas card. Icing is created with white gel pen. Inked around the edges with cocoa and bronze versacolour ink to create that 'just baked' look. Buttons and eyes are craftwork cards card candy. He is mounted onto a spring and moves about when touched - fab!! (you can't catch me I'm the gingerbread man) l.o.l.!!
