25th Wedding Anniversary

Been playing around with the Martha Stewart Valentine lace edge punch again and have created this for a friend's sister.

The spec was 'traditional' and hopefully this fulfils the criterior.

The fab silver embossed card was from 'crafty bits' - lovely card but can't get it anywhere anymore.

FLORISTRY PINS

Got a tip from a friend on uk scrappers (thanks Tracy) and this is my first try using these for decoration.

Love the idea but the beads keep falling off the end - obviously the beads I have are too large - have had to resort to glue.

Stamp is Penny Black Garden Poems and papers are K and Co Addison. Stickles glue was stardust.

ANOTHER W.O.W.

Have had more fun with my new martha stewart punch and created another wedding/anniversary card (could be for either ).

The papers are d.c.w.v. white embossed pack (bought in the U.S.A - haven't seen them here) and bazill criss cross brilliant white - pearls are k and co mixed set and sizes.

The hearts are a two step cuttlebug die.

PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE WEEK 37

Had some fun yesterday with this - inside says 'Heard you've not been well, hope you're hopping around again soon!'
The pink and yellow colours on this card remind me of rhubarb and custard boiled sweets I used to eat as a child.

Patterned paper is from Bitter Sweet range by Basic Grey. Image coloured with prisma pencils and low odour thinners.

I have one of these surplus - bought two from the U.S.A. - is currently on the bay of e if anyone is interested or leave a message for me.

I know how hard these are to get and apparently they are not going to be stocked by Michaels after valentines as they class it as a seasonal product.

PENNY BLACK WEEK 36 SKETCH CHALLENGE

Well don't blog for ages and then twice in one day - has to be a record.

This is only the second time I've done this, but have found this one really enjoyable to do as all you gotta do is follow the instructions/sketch .

No - not valentine cards -but stash!!

After quite a wait from a uk supplier my 'hello kitty' cartridge arrived and then the next day my long awaited martha stewart valentine heart edge punch - have been anticipating the arrival of these for some time.

The martha stewart punch was purchased from an online store in usa then shipped to a friend in orlando who then shipped to me - bought two of these and think they may have been the only ones anywhere - seems like this is a seasonal punch and have seen reports that will not be available in michaels stores after valentines!! - feel very lucky to have one!

- have not been very well this week with a dreaded virus that has left me with a hacking cough but still managed to knock up some quick cards just to see what these tools can achieve.
